“Capturing Moments” Solo Exhibition of Mireia Serra

Miriea turns everyday life into small, beautifully human bronze scenes. The figures are intentionally small and intimate. They’re not trying to impress you from across the room, they’re inviting you to look closer. Mireia uses the traditional lost-wax bronze casting technique. It’s the same method artists have used for centuries. Her scenes are all about life’s small pleasures and decisions. It might be a woman taking a moment to think, a figure relaxing, enjoying a quiet pause. Nothing dramatic, just very, very relatable. And that’s exactly the point. Mireia wants sculpture to feel part of daily life, not something locked away in a museum because art doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful. Sometimes, it just needs to feel human, and that’s what Mireia does so well, capturing moments of everyday life.
