Shou Honda

Shou Honda was born in Japan in 1986. He creates painting using the Nihonga technique. Shou is inspired by the charm of nature, he is particularly drawn to the depiction of the vitality of trees. Shou’s style is described as “luminism”, characterized by an emphasis on light and a glowing, soft-focused quality to the imagery.

Shou’s landscape paintings exude a serene and tranquil ambience, evoking a meditative sense of harmony and peace where the mind finds solace in the beauty of the natural world. At present Shou lives and works in Japan.
