Talented painter Marta Duran got her first degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona while studying painting from famous painters Pablo Mañé and J.
Martinez Lozano from 1972 to 1978. Later she further studied painting the human figure at the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc in Barcelona. In 1980, Marta began to exhibit her works with the group Taller Pablo Mañé Mataro and won her first prize for painting in the town of Tordera. The following year, she made his first solo exhibition at the Regional Museum of Maresme in Mataró, Spain.
