Born in Naples with parents from North Italy, at age three, his family moved to Piedmont. When in his teens he already started the first group exhibitions under the auspices of the National Union Artists in the prestigious hall of the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa. In 1974 he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan major in painting. After graduation from Brera Andrea continues to paint. In his oil works he addresses issues related to man, loneliness and existence. In particular, he lays focuses on the relationship between man and the world, and how the man feels as being part of the universe. Alongside with his painting career, Andrea works in the artistic field with fashion designers in Milan , also as assistant to Mauro Pagano, the stage designer of the Paris Opera House and La Scala in Milan . At present Andrea lives and works in Milan.
